Set up your profile feed and blog
Choose a username, add your email address, and set a password. Your account gives you a profile feed, a personal blog, and an inbox for mutual connection requests.
Usernames use letters, numbers and single hyphens, between 3 and 30 characters. Passwords need at least 12 characters. Your initial privacy setting is Only me, and you can change it at any time.
Your account details
Your email is used to verify your account and send sign-in notices. Connections with other members begin only when both people accept an invite.
Only you can see your email address. Sign-in and verification run over secure connections.
