Your profile feed

Your profile feed, in your own words

Your profile is a steady timeline of updates you choose to publish. Post a note, a photograph or a short reflection, then decide who can see it before it goes out.

Your identity header sits at the top of the feed, showing your name and a short introduction. Posts appear in reverse chronological order beneath it, so visitors see your latest updates first and can scroll back through earlier ones at their own pace.

Publishing

Post to your feed in a few moments

Text

Quick dispatches

Write a short update and publish it directly to your profile feed. There is no separate editor to open, so a thought becomes a post as soon as you finish writing it.

Photographs

Images with a line of context

Attach a photograph to any post and add a sentence about where or why it was taken. Your feed keeps the picture and the words together, so the moment stays readable for the people who follow you.

Reflections

Personal notes worth keeping

Use the feed for thoughts that do not need a full article. Each reflection stays in order on your timeline, so you can return to it later without searching through a separate archive.

Audience control

Choose who sees each post

Every post carries its own audience setting, so one update can reach your mutual connections while another stays with a smaller circle.

Mutual followers

All mutual connections

Share a post with everyone you are connected to through an accepted invite. Nobody receives it unless both of you have agreed to follow one another.

Trusted circles

A chosen group

Pick a smaller set of connections for updates that are meant for a particular circle of friends, colleagues or collaborators, and leave everyone else out.

Individual posts

Only the people you select

Limit a single post to specific recipients. Each setting applies to that post alone, so the rest of your timeline keeps its own audience.
